In September 2024, Telcell launched its first Initial Public Offering (IPO), placing shares at a nominal price of AMD 400. The total volume of the issuance amounted to approximately AMD 1.5 billion, and the subscription generated significant interest among both individual and institutional investors.
Within the IPO process, the shares were available for sale until the end of November 2024, but due to high demand, the placement closed ahead of schedule. Investors were offered purchase of a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 500,000 shares.
Telcell also announced its dividend policy, committing to distribute at least 50% of its annual net profit to shareholders. This move created an important precedent for boosting investor confidence in Armenia's capital market.
The IPO's organization and placement were executed by the investment company Armbrok, which ensured the process was transparent and efficient. Subsequently, the shares were admitted to trading on the Armenia Stock Exchange (AMX), making Telcell the 12th listed company on the exchange.
This successful IPO underscores Armbrok's crucial role as a major player and trustworthy partner in the capital market, contributing to the development of Armenia's investment environment.
